Bartram Trail:~115 mile long trail that roughly retraces 18th century American naturalist, William Bartram’s exploratory route through the SouthEast. The entirety of the trail is within Georgia and North Carolina. Thru-hiked in 2019.
The Bartram Trail intersects the AT on Cheoah Bald
This is the Northern Terminus where my husband and I finished on a sunny November afternoon. We began our hike at the southern terminus on the Georgia/South Carolina State line. It’s blazed in yellow.
