Arizona Trail: One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~800 miles long. Its northern terminus is at the Utah/Arizona border. Its southern terminus is on the Mexican border near Montezuma Pass, Arizona. Thru-hiked in 2016.

The Arizona Trail was my 3rd FKT on a National Scenic Trail

The state trail of Arizona is magical and variable. From desert to pine forest covered mountains to rangeland and the Grand Canyon. There is more wild in these 800 miles than on many other trails of longer length.
