Continental Divide Trail: One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~3,000 miles long. Its northern terminus is at the Canadian border in Glacier National Park, Montana. Its southern terminus is on the Mexican border in New Mexico. Thru-hiked in 2006, 2017 and 2018.

For nearly 4 months, my partner and I followed the Continental Divide southward. Often without a trail, using only map and compass to navigate the wild Divide. In late October, we finished our Triple Crown. I didn’t know it then…but I’d be back.
In 2017, just weeks after completing the ODT
I was prepping to complete my second Triple Crown with a second thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail. I started South from Canada in July with my soon-to-be husband. We completed my second Triple Crown in September. The changes in the CDT were more marked than in my repeats of the other two trails.
My 3rd Thru-Hike of the CDT was in 2018
As part of my Calendar Year Triple Crown. I completed it Southbound in two segments
