6 Day Find Your Flow Writing & Yoga, Women’s Retreat, Costa Rica

March 9-14, 2026 (be sure to select these dates when registering! I will not be at the other retreats)

Immerse yourself in your writing in this tranquil and supportive setting just steps from an undeveloped white sand beach on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

This WOMEN-ONLY retreat is hosted at Casa Bianca by Johanna Garton and Heather Anderson experienced adventure writers and is designed to meet your goals, whether you’re just getting started with writing or taking your literary project across the finish line. We’re also the perfect getaway for those looking to “audit” a writing retreat and simply surround themselves with other creatives, without the intent of producing specific work during the retreat.

Each day includes plenty of time for writing, engaging feedback sessions with other retreat participants, an hour of yoga (optional), and delicious and healthy meals created with local ingredients.

We communicate in advance with you to design your ideal workspace for optimal focus on your writing.

Each participant is offered an on-site, one-on-one consultation with one of our facilitators, along with ample opportunity for both spontaneous and organized feedback to reach your writing goals.

Participants are encouraged to make their time with us as meaningful as possible, so beyond our daily feedback sessions, you are free to spend as much time as you’d like with your writing, or if you prefer, becoming inspired by walking on the beach, exploring the town, surfing, or sunning on the beach or at the private pool.

Words from the Wild Trip to Patagonia

January 3-10th, 2027

Get ready for a breathtaking, heart-pumping hiking adventure through El Chaltén! Discover unique trails with imposing views of glaciers, turquoise Patagonian lakes, leafy Andean forests, and the iconic Fitz Roy mountain. We’ll hike to Mirador de Los Cóndores y Águilas, Laguna de Los Tres, Loma del Pliegue Tumbado, Huemules Reserve as well as experience the Perito Moreno Glacier & Nautical Safari Boat. You can also choose to add two additional activities at sign up: a Via Ferrata at Estancia Bonanza and the Perito Moreno Glacier Ice Trek. And, you don’t have to worry about carrying a heavy pack because we’re sleeping indoors on this trip. Join me for this epic bucket list adventure next January!
